As a resident of Los Angeles, a native of North Carolina, and a graduate of Howard University’s Film School, Carlton Jordan is a filmmaker with over 15 years of experience in TV, film and digital content. He has built a solid reputation in the unscripted world, successfully producing shows for networks including E!, TruTV, Centric, BET, MTV, Fuse and more. Along with producing television, he’s directed short films, news, and music videos – winning MTV’s Freshman Five contest with his directorial debut for NHI’s “Favorite Alien.”

In 2007 Carlton entered the blogging world garnering over 21 Million views on his YouTube page and forming an exclusive partnership with VIBE Magazine to become their top West Coast blogger for several years.

 Carlton successfully launched the web series ‘Love Handles’ in 2014, which has received close to 1 million views and positive reviews from publications such as Huffington Post, The Source, and Ebony/Jet, placing him in the top echelon of digital content creators. He served as Director of the Hollywood Black Film Festival for several years where he spearheaded a 4-day conference hosting Hollywood’s top creatives.

 Carlton’s latest film project is bringing a literary cult favorite, Ghetto Plainsman, to the big screen.
